Ordinance 26-01 (also referenced as 26-001), adopted Jan. 13, 2026, effective Jan. 28, 2026: a 180-day moratorium on accepting/processing data-center applications only. Before that term lapsed, the Township Board adopted Resolution 26-05 at its July 14, 2026 regular meeting, imposing a new 12-month moratorium on data centers, high-energy users, power-generation facilities, and similar uses (excluding PA 233 of 2023 energy facilities and small-scale generators), effective immediately.
